He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Pedersen and Erling Pedersen; his brothers, Robert and Bill; his wife Anita; and his sister-in-law Arlene.

He is survived by: his children, Lorne (Aileen), Karen (Michael) and Lynne (Phillip); his grandchildren, Damon, Elizabeth, Lucas and Felicia; his nephews, Steven, Craig, David and Brad; his niece Andrea; and his sisters-in-law, Terry and Nancy. He is also survived by his parents, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family requests that donations be made to the BC Cancer Agency, BC Heart & Stroke Foundation, BC Children's Hospital of the Alzheimer's Society.
