He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Brian Kupillas; and his father Steveston. He is survived by: his wife Sachi; his children, Glenna Schlesiger (Gerald), Keith Shirakawa (Sue) and Lyanne Kupillas; and his grandsons, Jordan, Tanner, Graeme and Tylor.
