She was predeceased by: her parents, Unosuke Nakatsu and Yoshiko Nakatsu; her stepmother Sumiko Nakatsu; her stepbrother Hideo Honda; and her husband Frank Hiromu Nitta.

She is survived by: her son Jeff (Janet); her grandson Tysen; her daughter Julie (Paul); her grandsons, Joshua (Katrina), Jack (Samantha) and Jacob (Christie); her brother Tsuyoshi; her sister-in-law Chizuru; her nieces and nephews, Wally, Rusty, Tina and Jennifer (Bob); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aldin and Parker; her sister Yachiyo; her brother-in-law Hank; her in-laws, Kitaro, Mitsuye and Hatsuko Nitta (Jean); her family, Karen, Suzi, Charlene, Janet and Michele; and also, George, May, Betty and Ted.

In lieu of flowers or Koden, donations in her memory to the Steveston Buddhist Temple, a place she held dear to her heart, would be greatly appreciated.
