He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Knecht and Joy Knecht; his mother-in-law Sheena McMillan; and his brother-in-law Brian Fenrich (Fanny). He is survived by: his wife Carol of Revelstoke; his children, Kristi Charlie (Dominic) of Abbotsford, Kaylee Knecht (Jesse Booth) of Revelstoke and Rob Knecht of Revelstoke; his grandchildren, Reid and Raegan; his father-in-law Jack McMillan of Abbotsford; and his siblings, Margo Kozak (Bryan) of Abbotsford, Brenda Fenrich of Revelstoke and Michelle Filipovic (Rob) of Calgary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
