He was predeceased by: his parents, Alf Olsson and Marjorie Olsson; and his brother Fred Olsson. He is survived by: his brothers, John Olsson (Gail) of Revelstoke and Gordon Olsson (Linda Justus) of Kamloops. He is also survived by nieces and one nephew.
