With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Benwell (Revelstoke, British Columbia), born in Nelson, British Columbia, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Myrtle Rosalie Benwell. He is survived by: his wife Beryl Buckley; his daughters, Laurie Wowk and Landra Lamacchia (Luigi); and his grandchildren, Amanda Wowk, Aaron Lamacchia (Elyse Naylor), Cameron Lamacchia (Brittany McFayden) and Donovan Wowk. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dad's name to a local charity of your choice.
