Ernest B. W. Smart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest B. W. Smart (Qualicum Beach, British Columbia), who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Pat; his siblings, Nita Dowman, Vivian Patterson, Bob and David Smart; and his great-nephew David Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Smart; his daughters, Jennifer Smart and Tricia Campell; his stepson Jeffrey Smith (Ixchel); his grandchildren, Sophie and Heydon Campbell; his brothers, Alex Smart and Ronald Smart; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Carruthers (Don) and Barry Kreller (Lynne). He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A Celebration of Ernie's Life will be held at the Qualicum Beach Legion on Wednesday June 28th at 2 p.m. In Memory of Erne, please consider a donation to Arrowsmith Search and Rescue, Qualicum Beach.
