Derek H. Shaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Derek H. Shaw (Qualicum Beach, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Derek's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Derek's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kenneth and Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Lilian; his children, Duncan (Margaret) and Sandra (Rocco); his grandchildren, Daniel, Maria and Matthew; and his sister Christine Tarr of Howick.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Stephen's United Church (150 Village Way, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K1L1).
