He is survived by: his uncle Henry Richard Paul; his wife Anna-Marie Friesen; his children, Lindsay Friesen (Louis) and Mathew Friesen (Taylor); his granddaughter Payton; his stepsons, Patrick Johansen and Curtis Sopkow; and his siblings, Vivian Froese (Gerald) and Jim Friesen (Chris). He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather.
