He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his children, Gordon and Kathy; and his siblings, Lorne, Earl, Keith, Harold, Corky, Donn and Alice.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Anderson (Craig) and Diane Froescul (Dale); his grandchildren, Luke Anderson, Cole Anderson, Andrew Zubrecki and Jenna Froescul; and his sisters, Betty McQuarrie and Joyce Moffat. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
