He was predeceased by: his siblings, Annie Kruders and Henry Braak. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Diana Movold (Craig), Rozanna Sulyma of Ladner, BC and Steven Braak of Mission, BC; his sister Minnie Wendels of Powell River, BC; his siblings-in-law, Willie Braak and Bill van den Heuvel of Halifax, NS; and his friends, Chief Joe Mitchel and Chief Dan George. He is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.
