He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Stacey (Dennis) and Jason (Allison); his grandchildren, Bradly, Kelsey and Lynsie; his great grandchildren, Hailey and Owen; his parents, Hewitt Robinson (Hoop) and Mamie Robinson; and his brother Hoop. He was also cherished by in-laws and nieces and nephews.

In 2001, Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and lived with it the best that he knew how.
