It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Giovanni DeVita (Powell River, British Columbia), who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Van Zyl and Patrick Tepoorten. He is survived by: his wife Giuseppina; his children, Carla, Dan (Marian) and Rita Roberts (Paul); his grandchildren, Maria, Angela, Jason and Jordan; his siblings, Erminia and Fausto De Vita (Alba); and his sisters-in-law, Antoniett and Ermilinda.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Giovanni's honour to the Powell River Hospital Foundation or the Four Tides Hospice Society.
