In loving memory of Francis Murphy (Powell River, British Columbia), who departed this world on December 16, 2024 at the age of 98. Francis leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Murphy and Catherine Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Terry (Olinka), Tim (Leanne), Fiona (Greg) and Nuala (Chris); and his grandchildren, Niall, Isabel, Olivia, Eric, Marissa, Mariah, Aidan, Liviano, Emma, Ronan, Owen and Bethany.
A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption (7109 Glacier St, Powell River, BC V8A1R8). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Powell River Town Centre (7109 Glacier St, Powell River, BC V8A1R8).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Assumption School.
