She is survived by: her significant other Henry Gruntman; her son Duane (Sandy); her grandchildren, Dana Gruntman (Marcia), Stacie Gruntman-Deeley (Mark) and Kyle Gruntman; her stepgrandchildren, Scott Smith (Jacki) and Tricia Marsh; her great grandchildren, Amy, Stacie Ann Gruntman, Ronan, Finn Deeley, Nathan, Lucas Gruntman, Jayden, Aaron Marsh, Douglas and Derek Smith; her brother-in-law Lawrence Gruntman (Evyon); and her close friends, Connie Sullivan and Eunice Sawchuk.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Evelyn's name to the Powell River SPCA or the Powell River Health Care Auxiliary.
