He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Wallace and Duncan MacKenzie; and his daughter Karen MacKenzie. He is survived by: his wife Ella MacKenzie; his siblings, Patricia, Mike (Liz) and Sandy; his children, Monika MacKenzie (Terry), Kent MacKenzie (France), Jeff Kilback and Dennis Kilback; and his grandchildren, Thomas Tarling, Tristan, James MacKenzie, Jesse, Hayley and Tyson Kilback.

In lieu of flowers, Bill's family requests donations in honour to either Parkinson's Canada, the BC Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
