He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy; his children, Bonnie Karhukangas (Rob), Shannon Svingen-Jones (Eric) and James Durand (Marcela); his sister Claudette Durand; his grandchildren, Sarah, Amy, Hope, Dane and Simon; and his parents, Laure Marie Ange Hupé and Arthur Philias Durand.
