She was predeceased by: her son Jay Sansalone; and her parents, Connie Pettersen and John Pettersen. She is survived by: her husband Frank Sansalone; her children, Amber Jardine (Craig Jardine), Stephanie Burns Staiano (Ivo Staiano), Domenico Sansalone and Santino Sansalone; and her grandchildren, Matthew MacDonald, Elijah Jardine, Hannah and Jack Burns.
