He is survived by: his spouse D. Jean Hembree; his daughters, Virginia, Kerry and Peggi (Phil Jones); his grandchildren, Bryce Balcom Keegan (Lisa Jorgensen), Hal Jones and Zoey Jones; and also Jean.
Jim served in many voluntary organizations, ranging from the Variety Club to the Capital Campaign Committee of SCIENCE WORLD British Columbia and the Port Moody Foundation.
