He was predeceased by: his sisters, Rene (Laurie), Bunty (Cyril) and Sally (Ray); his niece Anne; his nephew-in-law Bryan; his brother-in-law Bob; and also, Anthony and Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Karen (Tim) and Paul (Arleigh); his granddaughters, Amanda (Braden), Melissa, Megan (Steve) and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Henry, Matthew, Isla and Ivy; his sisters-in-law, Eleanor (Allan) and Dinah; his nieces, Melanie and Christine; and his nephew Mark.
