He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Hawksworth (Anderson); his parents, Alvina Hawksworth and Ernest Hawksworth; and his siblings, Agnes Sailor, Joe and Frank Hawksworth.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug (Gail), Bob and Floyd (Brenda); his friend Ana; his grandchildren, Sharon, Kenny, Jordan and Janessa (David); and his great grandchildren, Madison (Stephen) and Esther. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In the past 19 years, he could often be seen in the city and rural areas of our valley on his pedal bike collecting discarded recyclables, which in turn he donated all profits to one of his favourite charities "The Call of the Poor".
