She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde McGowan of Port Alberni, BC; her brother John Rice of Colorado, USA.; and her parents, Wilfred Rice and Eva Rice. She is survived by: her children, Dan McGowan of Lloydminster, AB, Reg McGowan (Lynn) of Port Alberni, BC and Connie Chretien (Norm) of Fort St; her grandchildren, Joe, Danielle, Kassandra, Natasha, Emma and Ellie; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Tatum, Abigail and Aurora.
