She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gertrude Hawkes and Alexander Hawkes; her significant other Rodney; her children, Faye Lackey (David) of Texas, Harvey Rogers (Marg) of Port Alberni and Lois Katzuk of Bowser; and her siblings, Lawrence Hawkes of Qualicum Beach and Viola Milton. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
