Kevin McGunigal Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 40, Kevin McGunigal (Port Alberni, British Columbia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kevin McGunigal to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Ron McGunigal; his grandparents, Bill Kanigan, Bob and Jean McGunigal; and his uncles, Steve and Lance McGunigal.

He is survived by: his mother Debby McGunigal; his brothers, Jared (Kylie) and Jordie; his nieces and nephews, Avery, Logan and Peri of Calgary; his grandmother Olga Kanigan; his cousins, Riley Kanigan (Sam), Kaitlyn Schievink (Brendin), Ryland Chernomaz, Michael and Madeline Kanigan-Joseph; his stepmother Janet Fitzgerald; his stepbrothers, Sheldon (Michelle), Leo, Myles and Gerry Fitzgerald; and his close friend Jill.

Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private celebration of Kevin's life will be held which we will Live Stream for those who wish to join us.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Kevin's memory may do so by making a donation in his name to the Alberni Athletic Youth Soccer Program.
