He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Braker; his parents, Goossen Braker and Willemina Braker (Nijboer); and his siblings, Menno Braker, Albert Braker, Albertus Braker, Ewold Braker and Rika Braker (Ree).
He is survived by: his sons, Hugh Braker, Clifford Braker (Sophie) and Colin Braker (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Melanie Braker (Keith), Holly McLaughlin (Dominic) and Hana Braker; and his great grandchildren, Tyrelle Braker, Kolten Braker, Kieris Braker-Patterson and Deja McLaughlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
