He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Pley and Gerritje Pley (Hol); and his brothers, Gys Pley, William Pley and Frans Pley.
He is survived by: his wife Georgina Pley (Chappin); his children, Gerald Pley (Sherry), Dan Pley (Dar) and Tami Netzer (Chris); his grandchildren, Brian Chuddy, Brandon Pley, Mark Pley, Matthew Netzer, Nicole Irlam (David), Erin McParland (Luke) and Megan Netzer; his stepgranddaughters, Kayla Burton, Ashley Kujala (Lance) and Amy Calderulo; his siblings, Evert Pley (Anne), Nellie Semkiw, Willie Vissia (Ron), Paul Pley (Marilyn) and Gretel Holden; his parents-in-law, Al Chappin (Donna), Tricia Chappin, Judy Pley, Marie Pley and Erv Thoen (Darlene); and his siblings-in-law, Martin Semkiw, John Holden, Wayne Chappin and Annie Pley.
