Evelyn Shirley Rumney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Shirley Rumney (Port Alberni, British Columbia), who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Evelyn Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Evelyn Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Evelyn Shirley leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Wetick and Olga Wetick; and her husband Keith Rumney. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Rumney-Serafini (Travis) and Gillian Woodcock (Clint); her grandsons, Dylan and Jace; and her sister Charlene Yeo (Barry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends.
