She was predeceased by: her husband Roy; and her sister Nora. She is survived by: her close friend Roy; her brothers, Wes (Debbie) of Ottawa and Tony (Reia) of Ireland; her children, Brenda (Garry) and David (Debbie); her grandchildren, Lindsay (Steve), Kyle, Keeley (Kirk) and Russell (Tatianna); and her great grandchildren, Maya, Sylvie, Brynn and Ezra. She is also survived by mothers and grandmothers and great grandmothers.
Joan believed in giving back and did so in many meaningful ways including her donations to charity and her volunteer work.
