He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel John Thomas and Dorthea Thomas (Craig). He is survived by: his brother Basil; his wife Jean; and his children, Sharon, Cindy, Jill and Kevin. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a long list of extended family.
