It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Percy Ellis (Port Alberni, British Columbia), born in Pitsea, Eastern, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his son Robert; and his siblings, Joan, Norman, Daphne, Dorothy and Colin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gerry Harper (Orest Iwaszko), Wendy Johnston (Robert) and Pamela Bryant (Michael); his daughter-in-law Li-Shien Lee; his grandchildren, Ian, Christine (James Beard), Dylan (Krystyn Tully), Jennifer (Dave Lyon), Antony (May Petitfrere), Derek, Julia, Cameron (Dee DaSilva), Courtney (Steven) and Kyla (Toby); his great grandchildren, Calla, Hadley, Mackenzie, Silas, Honour and Leo; and his brother Ken (Shirley) of England.
