He was predeceased by: his wife Marga; and his sister Monika. He is survived by: his children, Evelyn (Robert) and Roland (Danielle); his grandchildren, Colton (Krystal), Travis (Erica) and Nathen; and his girlfriend LeeAnn.

The family gratefully declines flowers, but those who wish can donate in his name to a community service in Port Alberni.
