He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; and his siblings-in-law, Thora Spragg, Hal Spragg and Neil Reid. He is survived by: his children, David (Stephanie), Neil (Sylvia) and Lesley (Brian); his grandchildren, Jaedon, Justine, Nadia, Megan, Nicholas, Kyle and Rachel; and his siblings-in-law, Ian Mitchell, Elinor Mitchell and Carol Reid. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
