She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave and May; her siblings, Marjorie (Jim), Evelyn (Adolf), Alan (Jean) and Elsie (Jim); and her grandson Adam.
She is survived by: her husband George Goldie; her brother Glen Gray (Dorothy); her children, Tom (Mollie), Greg (Jenny), Debbie and Rick (Sue); her grandchildren, Courtney, Caitlin (Mat), Colleen (Thomas), India and Zane; her great grandchildren, Grace and Meredith; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Dawson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
By that time, Sylvia had been living with Alzheimer's for several years but was still able to maintain her independence.
