Walter Edward Foley-Bennett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Edward Foley-Bennett of Penticton, British Columbia, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Bennett Townsend; his parents, Walter Foley-Bennett and Mabel Foley-Bennett; and his son Andy Foley-Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his daughter Shelley Townsend; and his grandchildren, Ryan (Leslie) and Bradley Townsend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Penticton Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society in Ted's memory.
