He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Stephenson and George Hoisington; and his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Nitchie (Rodney) of Barkerville, Leslie Hoisington (Debbie) of Red Deer, Leonard Hoisington (Daphne) of Kelowna, Lorna Cawley (Dave) of Lloydminster, Christine Murray of Keremeos and Brenda Jacobson (Stan) of Red Deer. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Providence Funeral Home (1258 Main St, Penticton, BC V2A5G1).
