She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edwin; her sister Alma; her daughters, Beryl (Volker Braun) and Vivian; and her grandchildren, Neil, Nathan Surkan, Monica and Austin Braun.
Remona loved to sing, and although she struggled with Alzheimer's disease for the last 9 years, it did not rob her of the ability to remember the words and tunes of many songs.
