He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva and Frederick; his brother Frank; and his pets, Missy and Minny.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Vicky (Andrew); his stepchildren, Nicole (Ryan), Jason (Devon), Samantha, Kaleigh (Megan) and Lindsay (Bremner); and his siblings, John (Wynona), Karen, Linda (Hector) and Joyce. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
