He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth; and his grandson Christopher Moore. He is survived by: his wife Cheri; his children, Dorothy Silzer and Doug Silzer; his stepchildren, Shannon Moore (Randy) and Corey Bruckenredge; and his brother Gerry Silzer (Donna). He is also survived by many relatives and good friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Oncology department at Penticton Regional Hospital through the medical foundation.
