He was predeceased by: his parents, John Solecki and Anna Solecki; his wife Janet Solecki; and his siblings, Alena, Harry, Paul, Milt, Steve and Kay.

He is survived by: his children, Aaron and Deidre (Quinn); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Marg; his girlfriend Marjorie Pettigrew; his partner's children, Jen and Sharon; and his children, Prince George, Squamish and Penticton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
