It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarita Wood (Penticton, British Columbia), who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Margarita departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Margarita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Margarita leaves behind.
She is survived by: her daughter Gaby (John); her grandson JT Pereira; her son Mauricio (Cecilia); her grandchildren, Mau Jr. and Anna Lopez; and her sister Mariluz. She is also survived by her brother Luis and family; as well as extended family and friends.
