He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Sam and Mary Sam; and his siblings, Gerald Sam, Vernon Sam, Alleta Sam and Muriel Sam.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Charman, Vince Sam, Brian Sam, James Sam, Shirley Sam, Glenda Wall and Jo Tanner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
