He is survived by: his sisters, Joan, Debbie and Patty; his daughter-in-law Shayla; his grandchildren, Cole, Luke and Anna; his son David Cassidy; his wife Donna Cassidy; his father Joseph Cassidy; his brother Gordon Cassidy; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Swetlikoe, John Soviskov and Pearl Swetlikoe. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Providence Funeral Homes & Crematorium (1258 Main St, Penticton, BC V2A5G1). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
