It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alvin Ernest Slater (Penticton, British Columbia), who passed away on July 19, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his niece Sylvia; his nephew Grant; and also, Hilda (Ray), Ivy and Hazel (George).
He is survived by: his children, Sandy, Ernie (Cathy), Bruce (Kimberly) and Renee (Dale); his grandchildren, Amanda (Len), Kristy (Casey), Kayla, Gerrit (Shaunice) and Kelsi; his great grandchildren, Liam, Ava, Brandon and Sophia; his spouse Irene Faulkner; and his former wife Nora Fidler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his cousins.
At Al's request there will be no service and, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memoriam to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.ca).
