“Ian and Sue Cooke send our sincere condolences to Allan's family. I first got to know Allan on a business trip to Fort McMurray and we hit it off instantly. He was meticulous and had a great work ethic.Allan had visited my wife and I on several cherished occasions and we became great friends. Not hearing from him this Christmas and then finding out that he died in July is a shock. Sue and I remember him as a bubbly, jovial and charismatic person and avid Magpie fan. We will miss him dearly.”

Our friendship continued after he moved to Penticton and we met for coffee or lunch when we could. I had lunch with him just 10 days before he passed. It's such a shock to me as he looked good and said he was feeling well too. I'll really miss him 😢”
