With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta Jean Mattice of Penticton, British Columbia, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Alberta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alberta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Rockwell and Nellie Rockwell; and her brother Jim Rockwell. She is survived by: her husband Earl; her daughters, Michelle (Wayne Cannard) and Melanie Gale (Marty); her grandchildren, Eden Valentine (Mike) and Caylan Gale; her sister Marjorie Mattice (Royce); and her sister-in-law Linda Rockwell.
