He was predeceased by: his wife June; his parents, James and Mary; and his sister Marjorie. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy (Al), Gail (Steve), Nancy (Jens) and Shirley (Don); his grandchildren, Tammy (Vince), Dean (Erin), Jenelle (Dave), Troy (Rosie), Christy (Daryl), Casey (Sunny) and Lisa; his great great grandchild Clara; and his son-in-law Steve.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date when Covid restrictions relax.
