He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha; and his siblings, May, Freda and Larry. He is survived by: his children, Scott (Holly) and Apryl (Don); his grandchildren, Coho, Thomas and Celia; his great grandchild Lotus; his nieces, Lorraine Elsom and Sharleen Tulloch; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra, Jo-Ann, Jack (Barb) and Jimmy (Heather). He is also survived by his mother and siblings.
He would decorate the town section of Hwy 97 with pennant streamers with help from neighbours and family, and then later, hang the many Canadian flags which were donated.
