It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harley Emerson Gaetz (Parksville, British Columbia), born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Newman and Beatrice; and his siblings, Arnold, Doris and Leona.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Jeremy (Heidi) of Surrey and Stacey (Braden) of Surrey; his grandchildren, Hilary, Abigail and Emily; and his brother Gerald (Louise) of Nova Scotia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his many friends.
