He was predeceased by: his former wife Marjorie Joan Manson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Manson; his daughters, Julia Kelly and Amanda Bentz (Brian); and his stepsons, Bryan Mitchell (Megan) and Lawrence Mitchell. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchild.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Society.
