We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2023, at the age of 88, Alan Noel Hughes (Parksville, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Kenward; his children, John (Julia) and Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Patrick, Alison and Carys. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Donations in his memory to a diabetes charity would be a fine way to honour his passing.
